indian curry
according to migros' latest ad campaign you will have "mehr zeit zum leben" if you buy their fast food indian curry (probably more additives than spices). maybe it's just my pregnancy hormones speaking again, but: rather use your time to cook it yourself (takes about 15 minutes). actually, I never follow recipes myself and the only reason this one exists is because I wrote it down for lee and etienne's goodbye gift. it's totally robust with respect to modifications: as long as you add the proper spices, you might as well just chop up the bottom drawer of your fridge and it will taste great... 1 onion loads of fresh coriander (or cilantro, if you're american ;-)) chop finely and fry in butter 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoons ground turmeric (curcuma) add and keep on stirring until fragrant 3 fresh tomatoes chop and add as well 150g lentils add and simmer until soft (add water if needed) fresh ginger coconut milk tomato puree salt & pepper season to taste
