filipa will be six months old next week, so my maternity leave will soon be over. actually, i've been working from home since the beginning of june already, and much to my delight, programming is still a lot of fun. but getting things done is difficult (even with a todo list). here's why:
it's still the very first stages of crawling, and luckily she's not very fast yet, but her curiosity is a powerful motivator. she's the happiest lil bean on earth, as long as she's entertained, but that is just not what easily goes side by side with debugging the central event queue. so as much as i dread leaving her behind next tuesday, it might actually make my programming life a bit easier.
