american apparel

i've just bought a load of american apparel t-shirts. they are

the softest, smoothest, best-looking t-shirt available anywhere

well, i would't go that far, but they are durable, athletic-cut shirts, have no prints, come in over 30 colors, are cheap, and are made in sweatshop-free environments in downtown los angeles. quite impressive, hm? according to wikipedia, there's also another side of the story: american apparel's CEO, dov charney, was accused of sexual harassment by several female employees. among other things, he has repeatedly been running around in his underware. charney insists on testing the products of this company. i leave it up to the court to decide whether charney is a disgusting harasser or if the accusal is just an american approach to silencing a weirdo.

I've read some interviews with Charney, and if they are anything to go by, he is definitely a weirdo. The sexual harassment claim seems very plausible.

yep, in this one he's impressively weird (but quite entertaining ;-)), for example...
